"Kiyone," 2013, acrylic, pencil, and collage on paper.
Greetings, everyone! How were your holidays? Is your new year coming along well? As part of my New Year's resolutions, I am to draw everyday! I've been quite busy with submissions and working on a new zine (!!!). My work is on display this weekend at the St. Augustine Art Association; one of my litho prints are showing there, and that's pretty cool! I will be featured in a couple magazines this month, too. I am one of the featured artists in "The Hand Magazine," and I will be in the upcoming "GRRRL ASYLUM" magazine and SELFIEZINE!
I also designed the logo for my friend Ri's biking company, Ghost in the Spoke. It's now available on a shirt and ready for purchase. (I drew the King "Boo Boo" and Ri made the Ouija board design).
Isn't it pretty cool? It's available at the Ghost in the Spoke's online store. Help support Jacksonville's local biking scene!
That's the cover! :P The zine is based on the ideas of dream associations and log/journal keeping. Stay tuned for more!
